When Shenise Farrell read on the internet about a £5,000 operation which could turn her dark brown eyes light blue, she wasted no time in heading off to Panama. Less than two weeks later, British surgeons were battling to save her sight. They had to repair a hole in her iris and remove implants. Sen. Edward M. Kennedy will lie in repose Thursday and Friday at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in Boston before his funeral at a city church, the senator’s office said. Kennedy is to be buried at Arlington National Cemetery near his slain brothers, said Kennedy spokesman Keith Maley. Ghana Government Pledges Not To License New Telecom Operators

The Ghana Government has decided not to license new telecom operators to safeguard the integrity of the industry, Mr. Haruna Iddrisu, Minister of Communications said on Wednesday. “Government has no intentions of adding a new telecom player to the six players in the Ghanaian market,” he said at the inauguration of the refurbished Head Office building of Millicom Ghana Limited, operators of Tigo in Accra.
